High Specificity - Thanks to the advanced chemical formulae used in Test-it™ urine strips, cross-reactions and false positives are kept to an absolute minimum.
Interference of Ascorbic Acid - Test-it™ strips limit the interference of low concentrations of ascorbic acid with both glucose and haemoglobin determinations. An additional ascorbic acid parameter is provided on some product combinations to alert the user if excessive amounts of ascorbic acid are present in the urine that could have an effect on the accuracy and reliability of glucose and haemoglobin determinations.
Economic - Test-it™ strips do not require refrigeration and are stable for 2 years from date of manufacture.
Quick Results - Test-it™ strips allow simultaneous reading of all reagent pads at 60 seconds, except for leukocytes that could be read at 120 seconds to allow for detection of weak positives.
Cap Containing Desiccant - Test-it™ urinalysis tubes are supplied with a cap containing aggressive moisture absorbing (desiccant) material. The desiccant ensures that a low humidity environment is always present in the tubes and enhances the shelf life of the test strips. By having the desiccant inside the cap it cannot be lost, spoiled or damaged. Closing the cap immediately after removing a test strip helps prevent moisture from attacking the remaining tests strips in the tube.
UV Protected Tube - Each Test-it™ urinalysis tube is carefully pre-treated with a special chemical formula to prevent UV damage to the strips.
High Quality Colour Chart - Most urine strip manufacturers offer colour labels of inferior print quality. Test-it™ colour labels utilise a unique and high quality printing process, ensuring a perfect match between strip colour reactions and corresponding colours on the colour label.
